Welcome to the website of the League of Women Voters of Radnor Township.

The League of Women Voters has been active in Radnor since 1920, when women won the right to vote.

Since then we have worked to make Radnor better in many ways. We are a nonpartisan group, but politically active in support of good government and candidate information. What we want is better health, education, environmental quality, land use planning, recreational opportunities, voting rights, and much more, for us all.

As a local league, we are part of a nationwide network of leagues, organized in the same way as governments, with local, inter-local, state, and national levels and officers. Click on the "websites of interest" and other links at left for more detail.

Why not join us at our next monthly LWV-Radnor Board Meeting (See Calendar). All members and prospective members are welcome. And don't forget our annual program planning dinner on January 19, 2012.

To join, click here. Men and women 18 and older are welcome.

Honor Roll News! Radnor LWV member Roberta L. Winters has been named to the Anna Estes Strawbridge 2011 Honor Roll. "No one better exemplifies the League's study, consensus, and action style in this decade than Marcellus Shale Coordinator Roberta Winters. Roberta, a long-time teacher, brought her educational, research, and teaching skills to a program vital to the future of Pennsylvania. The impact of the Marcellus Shale frack-and-drill industry on the economy and the health of our citizens is important to everyone. Roberta's experience in public relations has enabled the LWVPA to reach more and more groups, vastly increasing its effectiveness across the state. Big congratulations, Roberta!
