In 1909 a Minneapolis bartender created the "Suffragette Cocktail" that claimed after drinking a couple would "make a man go home and relinquish his position as head of the household to his wife, and accord her all the privileges he now enjoys as a citizen." That's one hell of a cocktail!
Learn how to make this progressive cocktail with LWV Host Annie Micale Webb and Beverage Educator, Samantha Seltzer.

Ingredients you will need:
- Gin
- Dry Vermouth
- Sweet Vermouth
- Orange Bitters
- Lemon
- Ice
- A rebellious spirit

- Large glass
- Stirring spoon
- Strainer
- Vegetable peeler
